  You're right; the threat of the mother's life is a circumstance.  I should have made my point a little clearer.  In the rare case of having to choose between the mother's life and the fetus's life, I believe that abortion is justified because, either way, someone has to die.  I don't think that any other conditions can justify abortion because they are merely inconveniences to the mother.  Basically, I oppose abortion because I think everyone has a right to life.  However, this means that the mother has a right to life and if her fetus is going to kill her than it should be terminated.  Any other circumstance, no matter how traumatic (rape, incest, etc), does no justify abortion.
